mn pete
Actual cutting was done on the table saw! We’re getting closer to true workshop status! http://secondwindworkshop.blogspot.com/2012/02/co-workshop-update-7-i-made-first-cut.html I'm knocking out quite a few of these updates lately, so I thought I'd just start rolling everything into a single WIP. mn pete
I started to organize the placement of the cabinets we picked up a few months back. http://secondwindworkshop.blogspot.com/2012/03/co-workshop-update-9-how-low-should-i.html Do any of you have a work area with a lower bench height for assembly/finishing? mn pete
I decided to build up the height of the recycled cabinets and then make a dedicated low height assmebly table. I’m shamelessly stealing another woodworker's design for his rolling assmebly table! http://secondwindworkshop.blogspot.com/2012/03/co-workshop-update-10-low-down-theft.html
mn pete
The hockey pics are up...now it's a shop! Another good weekend with some quality time down in the basement. I might actually get to start woodworking soon! http://secondwindworkshop.blogspot.com/2012/03/co-workshop-update-11-i-can-move.html
mn pete
I might actually get a few more things off the floor and put away. http://secondwindworkshop.blogspot.com/2012/04/co-workshop-update-12-im-going-to-need.html
Jfitz
it's always a good feeling when you get some storage - and it's amazing just how far even a little storage space goes.
dwacker
Do any of you have a work area with a lower bench height for assembly/finishing? I make finishing pedestals out of 3/4 plywood, easier on the back. About 2' x 4' about 20" tall, great for spraying finish or assembling base cabinets. Just plywood boxes with a half dozen little casters on the bottom. The empty space can be used for storage and when they get to covered in finish and glue, they burn real good. mn pete
Installed some pegboard, beefed up the bench and added a new rolling tool cart...a pretty productive weekend. A Caps win over the Rangers would have made it a little nicer though! http://secondwindwor...-it-pegged.html
