Keggers
I just received my new Big Daddy router bit from the William NG Woodworks. Though I haven't used it yet, I thought I'd pass on the excellent service I received. The bit arrived three days after I ordered it online. It was well packaged and arrived in great shape. If the bit works as well as the service, I'll be extremely happy!
wdwerker
I remember someone on here got one and it worked well for him. Let us know what you think! I have several 3 hp routers and that bit is probably a future purchase for me.

PaulMarcel
My only complaint with it is I'd rather have a top bearing; less cutter exposed and this has a lot! Adding a shank bearing is easy.
thewoodwhisperer
A lot of the flush trimming William does is with a shop-made custom jig. Since the bottom platform of the jig typically dictates the shape he's trying to route to, he needs the bearing to be on the bottom. I'm guessing that's why he opted for that configuration. Too bad he doesn't offer both varieties.
wdwerker
Whiteside has top and bottom bearing spiral bits now, saw them at the IWF this summer . Looked impressive, so did the price!
