Grain Guy Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 How do I get the right click drop down menu options on a Mac? Quote
thewoodwhisperer Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 If you are talking about standard right-clicks and not a specific software issues, all you need to do is hit the Command key while clicking. Also, newer Apple mouses actually have the right-click functionality built in by placing a single finger on the right side of the mouse and pressing down. Not sure if that helps you. Also keep in mind you can always put a regular mouse on your mac if you want to. My mom can never get used to the lack of a second mouse button so she has a microsoft mouse on her mac. Quote
areynoldsre Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 I use a standard 2 button mouse with a scroll wheel on my Mac when I am doing sketchup. Works just fine. Also check your mouse set up under system preferneces, with one mouse I had to change settings there to get the right click to work. Quote
Reiska Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 If you're using a trackpad with your mac tap with two fingers at the same time. Quote
Bob Lang Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 The only thing I would add to the above is that these menus are dependant on cursor placement, there are different menu options displayed if the cursor is over an object vs. out in empty space. Quote
pghmyn Posted September 27, 2012 Report Posted September 27, 2012 If you're using a trackpad with your mac tap with two fingers at the same time. If your trackpad is newer, the lower right corner of the trackpad actually senses if you press there and is like using a right-click function. Quote
