Box Joint jig adventure

I am frequently asked to make A/C registers and return grills out of different species of wood. Some of them are for floor registers in hardwood floors or antique pine floors. Also, in rooms where the walls are wood instead of drywall, it looks so much nicer than having an aluminum grill. Using a simple box joint sled makes this a lot easier than you might think. Here are a few projects I've done using just the ts and a sled.

Great idea. Nice finishing touch. I imagine a floor grill would need to be thick enough to support an occasional footstep.
