Tom King
These are in an addition to our house. The rest of the house is probably 3/4s naturally finished, mostly old wood. In the addition, we have some all painted rooms. These are a couple of the ceilings. The first is raised panel coffers. The panels have a lot more depth than shows up in the pictures. These are made with MDF and Powergrab. The tapered sides of the panels are separate from the face, with 2x beveled boards under them with the faces of the 2xs cut on a bevel. No spiders were harmed in taking these pictures. The second ceiling is flat panel coffers in our bedroom. They are made from MDF, and MDO. G S Haydon
Nicely done Tom. The cobwebs add that period touch . Delighted to see an appropriate use for MDF too.
