DaveMeier
I wanted to replace a dated, painted wood railing for the staircase just inside the front door of my house in Colorado. After several design iterations, this is what I came up with. The material is all solid cherry with walnut strips set in at the corners of the main posts. The four posts are hollow and are dropped over 1 1/2 inch square steel tubes bolted through the stair ledgers. I had a local glass shop prepare the three 3/8 inch thick tempered glass panels. Chuck Melton
Looks great Dave. I have a similar glass partition in my house that want done nearly as nicely. I might borrow some of your design elements when we get around to redoing it.
Byrdie
Very nice design and look. I particularly like the exposed edges on the tempered glass.
