shaneymack
Looking good Dyami. The spacer you are using for the fence setup is that just one piece or does it come in a set with other size blocks? By combining them, I can make almost any size.
Dyami Plotke
This morning's work is going a bit slower than anticipated. That said, it's going well. I determined how thick the assembled board will be, then I milled a fence for the glue up. I attached it with brads so that I can remove it if I need to. Then I covered the torsion boxes with packing tape to prevent glue from sticking to them. Now, I'm trying to figure out the wheel and kick placement so that I can adjust the banding to fit between them.
shaneymack
For a second there I thought the packing tape was a coat of finish. I thought to myself, either Dyami works at Kev speed or he doesnt know what he is doing. Lol. Looking good man!

Dyami Plotke
After much fussing, I've settled on truck layout and used that to determine the decal location.

Dyami Plotke
What kind of glue did you use? Titebond III, as recommended be Matt Berger. I'll say, you need every extra minute of open time it offers.
Dyami Plotke
As I review the glue up and hope for a good outcome tomorrow, I realize I should have eased the edge of the top torsion box.
Dyami Plotke
I took the board out of the press this morning and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it looks. I also set a printout of the graphic on the deck to see what it will look like when done.
