WoodDoesntTalkBack
Seeing as how I don't know of many wood working stores in the Western suburbs, I stopped into Woodcraft in Woodridge the other day. And I have to say that I'm extremely glad I did. I am hooked on that place. Does anyone else here frequent that store?
alindsey
I do. Well not that specific Woodcraft store, the one in Cincinnati. I work there. :-) Not to toot horns, but I'd like to think the kind of help you got with your knives is typical of a Woodcraft store. They're all franchised, as far as I know, so of course your mileage may vary but it sounds like at least Woodridge is on a similar page as Cincinnati. The guys in our store love to talk shop, demonstrate, answer questions and just shoot the bull.
kep1019
I like that store is much better than the one they closed in Palatine. Seems like they are cheaper on some thing than Rockler.
