Popular Post gee-dub
Issac had asked about wide miter challenges in this thread. Although there are commercially available products and double stick tape, glue and paper methods, etc. these have worked well for me and can be quickly made out of scrap. You do have to wait for the glue to dry ;-) I think the pics are self explanitory but, feel free to ask for clarification on anything.

Llama
Where did you get that glue thingy? I've seen them on some Euro-kit sites, don't recall seeing them over here though.

Popular Post gee-dub
Thanks Lester. I have those on most of my smaller F-style clamps. The wife brought home a few 3 foot square-ish pieces of luan that they use to divide loads in truck trailers. It was easy to just make a boat-load of them. I drill a hole at what will be the end of the slot and then cut to it on the bandsaw leaving the entrance just a bit narrow so they "snap" on.
Rex Edgar
Nice idea, both the clamp'condoms' and the miter clamp. Consider it plaguerized.
