Popular Post BonPacific Posted May 21, 2017 Popular Post Report Posted May 21, 2017 Call out to any new or under equipped woodworkers in the Seattle area. I'm doing a spring cleaning, and getting rid of some old tools. None of it is top quality, but it all works. I'd love to hand these off to someone just picking up the craft, who needs tools. Give me a holler if you can use any of 'em Drill Doctor bit sharpener Craftsman bit index Old belt sander "Worth" brand smoothing plane 4x miter clamps, the type with toothed jaws. 2x Jorgensen EZ-hold II clamps 32" Oneida dust deputy shopvac cyclone HF bin organizer Old shop vac Filter stand from HF dust collector. Plus anything else I find to get rid of. 7 Quote

aknotsdeath Posted May 21, 2017 Report Posted May 21, 2017 Think I could lay claim to the sharpener and the Jorgensen clamps? And the Oneida if no on else claims it. I have a homemade one that works ok. But upgrading is always nice. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk Quote

I'd have to afford one of those before I could afford to give it away. Seriously though, I'm changing jobs soon and trying to decide between buying a car to commute, or a sawstop. 34 minutes ago, Jfitz said: wow, that's pretty awesome of you!! I inherited or was given a lot of basic stuff when I was getting started. Just trying to pay it forward 1 Quote

MisterDrow Posted June 20, 2017 Report Posted June 20, 2017 Still have that smoothing plane? I'd be willing to send you money to cover shipping if you wouldn't mind sending it to Meridian, ID. And the dust deputy Quote
BonPacific Posted June 20, 2017 Author Report Posted June 20, 2017 Dust Deputy is gone, but the old smoother is available. Fair warning it's not a great piece of kit. It's sharp and flat, but the frog is stamped rather than cast, so you're stuck with a fair amount of chatter. I'd be willing to ship it, though I have to imaging your money would be better spent elsewhere. 1 Quote
MisterDrow Posted June 22, 2017 Report Posted June 22, 2017 Ahh, well nevermind then. Thanks for the response, though. I think everything else on that list would be prohibitively expensive to ship. Quote
