gardnesd
A lot of the Apple snobs frown upon the audacity of Droid to compete with apple. In my line of work it's analagous to asking someone to change religions. The cult like following is quite scary sometimes.
Sac
There is an Android app is the works. Not sure when it is going to be released. But I can tell you that it does exist...

thewoodwhisperer
We actually had a kind soul take pity on us (thank you Josh!), and he essentially made the app for us. We figured most of the hard work was done. But apparently the submission process is not as simple or streamlined as it is for the Apple store. So Nicole is still trying to find the time to dive into learning the system so that we can get this puppy into the Android Marketplace. All you need to do is submit it as some kind of Asian or Russian porn or a crappy slider puzzle game and you should be good to go.

Android is a Linux based operating system that runs on a bunch of smart phones. Basically computers in your pocket. In simplest terms its the Windows or OSX for your phone. I know it's not as popular as the other two (while simultaneously being the actual best OS for phones/tablets...), but I think it's going to gain a much larger following in the next few months when HP releases their tablet. I had a cell phone from 1985 just me and about three other people I think and the battery needed a trolley all its own, When I moved to France ten years ago I gave up on mobiles. Though my wife has one for emergencies. I used to knock up over a hundred pounds per month way back then, never thought I could live with out it. Just goes to show what you can do with a few flags and semaphore booklet.
nicolespag
The day has come android users! Because of your fellow whisperer Josh, TWW now has an app in the Android marketplace! A HUGE thank you goes to Josh for doing this and to all the beta testers that gave feedback on the app. After digging into the process of just publishing the app. I can tell you right now it would have taken me much much longer if I had to write the app myself. Again thank you Josh! ps don't forget iphone/ipod users you have an app as well pps blackberry has contacted us to be listed in the podcasting blackberry directory, but there are no plans for a standalone app ppps sorry palm people if making apps was my full time job I would get something made for you, but again no plans to make one

GNiessen
Didn't the iPhone app have some handy calculators? This one seems to be just ready access to the online content.

There are two apps. One is the Woodshop Widget which is the calculators. The TWW App is content-based.
