prov163
I decided to order a couple of Ron Hock’s plane kits. Thought it would be a fun diversion and since I’ve never used a wooden body plane I could use it as a learning opportunity. I’ll make a post in the Review section. Anyone else here tried them? Ronn W
I did a veritas kit a couple of years ago and I use it. Perfect size for small projects and chamfering edges. Enjoy.
prov163
Got the Krenov plane done. Took a couple of shavings. Hope to get to the larger one and the spokeshave soon.

Chip Sawdust
I didnt get a plane kit but I did just order a 2 3/8 (or was it 5/8?) blade and chip breaker for a old fore plane I found at an antique store. The blade and breaker sucked, so for $80-ish I'm going to see if that cures its ills. Can't make it worse. It's not horrible, just not performing like I want it to. Stay tuned...
