Aaron Pannebaker Posted May 15, 2019 Report Posted May 15, 2019 Any advice on where to post a cabinet maker position? We are a small shop located in Denver, NC- we build pipe organs! Our head cabinet maker of over 20 years recently left, and we are seeking someone to replace him- any help would be greatly appreciated! Quote
Tom King Posted May 15, 2019 Report Posted May 15, 2019 WIthout my having to look at a map, where is Denver, NC. Not sure that I will be any help, but I'd just like to know where it is. I'm up on the Va. state line, between where I85, and I95 cross the line. Quote
wtnhighlander Posted May 15, 2019 Report Posted May 15, 2019 Several folks have posted various jobs here in the past, although they are typically one-time commissions. I see no reason not to list more details of what you need right here. We have plenty of lurkers that read the forums, even if no regular member is interested or able. Quote
Aaron Pannebaker Posted May 16, 2019 Author Report Posted May 16, 2019 Denver is about 25 minutes north of Charlotte on the west shore of Lake Norman. In which forum do you all recommend me posting the job description? Here it is: Cornel Zimmer Organ Builders seeks a friendly, experienced cabinetmaker for a full-time position in our shop located in Denver, NC. Requirements include: 7+ years in a woodshop, must be able to read CAD drawings, must be able to lift 50 lbs. Some travel is required. Formal application must be accompanied by lists of references and of your work that can be inspected. Salary is commensurate with experience and will include benefits. To inquire, please contact Aaron Pannebaker by email at apannebaker@hotmail.com. Quote
Byrdie Posted May 16, 2019 Report Posted May 16, 2019 Interested in organs and organ making, unfortunately not interested in moving ... again. If I were a bit younger this would be real tempting! Wish the best of luck and hope you find who you're looking for. Quote
Tom King Posted May 16, 2019 Report Posted May 16, 2019 Be sure to include your website. I didn't have any trouble finding it, and it looks really nice. I'm not sure if sawmillcreek allows such postings, but there is a lot of traffic there, and probably any pros reading, and posting on internet forums. It's .org Quote
