legenddc
Just picked up the Ridgid Oscillating Spindle Sander. I know a lot of people on here have them. Any replacement sandpaper recommendations? I don't think Ridgid sells replacements and I'd like to have some different grits.
Mark J
Klingspor. They have a commercial side and then Klingspor Shop. You can probably get what you want from either source. I just bought a bunch of belts in higher grits (220) from my comercial rep. I'm sure you can get spindle sleves, too. Otherwise the BORG sells 80 grit belts and replacement spindle sleeves. drzaius
Klingspor belts are what I use. The sander is mostly used with the belts. I use the spindles so infrequently that I haven't even worn out the ones that came with it.
Dave's Not Here
I get my sanding supplies from Industrial Abrasives, https://www.industrialabrasives.com/sanding-sleeves-replacement-abrasive-spindle-sleeves-c-77_99.html?zenid=057v44k6hebdjeiqoooh8sjhf0
legenddc
Thanks for the tips. I do need to try some better sandpaper for my ROS as well. Guess this could be an expensive order. I'm really now sure how I'll incorporate this into my work, but I'd rather have some extra sandpaper in case I burn something in the middle of a project.
