Ron Stewart
Just wondering how you keep dust off your projects when spraying. Thank You Ron Stewart
wtnhighlander
Ideally, spray in a space outside the workshop. Those cheap plastic 'dropcloths' make good temporary curtains to separate the spraying area from the woodwork area, if you can't.
gee-dub
I live in an area with very regular breezy morning conditions that turn to light winds as the day goes on. We also often have winds that would make any sort of pop-up Kansas bound. This means I spray inside. I try to spray first thing after entering the shop. I prep the day before and give it all night to settle the airborne dust. The act of spraying raises fine dust so part of the prep the day before is a good sweep and vacuuming followed by ambient filters running for an hour or two.
Popular Post bradpotts
I took one of those Harbor Freight portable car canopy's and made a spraying shed out of it. It's not overly nice but it gets the job done.
wtnhighlander
@bradpotts, how long does it take to set that up?
Coop
My brother has been using one of those for 2-3 years. He has plenty of property and leaves it up year round and is still in good shape, zippers and all.

I don't remember how long it took the first time. I leave it set up all year round. I would guess maybe an hour. I did replace the tarp part last year. It lasted about 2 and a half years. I just leave the door part open and haven't had any problems.
Coop
Brother cut an opening in the backside, opposite the zippered opening and positioned a cheap 24” box fan for the exhaust. He replaces the whole fan as the blades build up with the spray.
