John52
I broke down and bought carbide blades for my DW735. After installing them they leave the board rippled. One time as the planner got to the end of the board the planner kicked back and shot the board back out the inside of the planner. I reinstalled my old blades and they work fine. Any ideas? Thanks John
gee-dub
These are indexed blades so if they are not aligning correctly (which it seems they are not) I would contact the maker / seller.
wtnhighlander
I think @gee-dub nailed it. Incorrect index hole or improperly sized blade.
treeslayer
No clue as to what happened but sure would like to know what you find out
Robby W
A rippled surface is a sign that the cutting edge of the blades are not in the same circle - one or more is higher than the others. A few minutes with a dial indicator would tell you which.
