Mangos !

But I’ll second that there can be a huge difference in varieties and source of produce. I had some amazing mangos when I was visiting my wife when she lived in the Dominican Republic. And when we lived in CA there were some varieties of avocado that were far superior to the boring old haas avocados that are available here in NC.

I have an avocado tree. Called Marcus Pumpkin. Fruit almost as big as your head. Exceptional fruit. And I have a potential bumper crop. It won't be ready until late October/early November. To get any fruit it must go the gauntlet of potential tropical storms. After that the squirrels get a share. I added composted horse manure in January. Maybe the reason the tree is full of fruit. I do like them a lot but not the treasure like Valencia Pride...
