Karl Bauer
I have absolutely no idea what to do with it yet, but 5 full 4X8 sheets of paper backed maple veneer for $22 I could not pass up.

Vic
Karl, how is that paper backed veneer to work with?
Karl Bauer
Karl, how is that paper backed veneer to work with? Not really sure yet, I figure it should be about the same as working with Formica. You know contact cement on both surfaces and all that. But the $22 for all 5 sheets I just could not leave with out it. BTW I found it at a Habitat for Humanity Restore.

You'll have to show it when you use it and let us know how it works.
Guest Trace
I believe that the paperbacked plywood is used primarily for signage. I use it for Christmas and Hanukkah decorations, because it takes a sealer very well. It is also easy to do the layout prior to the cutting out of the item. I use mostly 3/4" from a supplier in Pittsburgh, but it costs a lot more than $4.40 a sheet. Good luck with whatever project you use it for. Vic
I picked up a business card pack a couple years ago at the AFWS where I got to finally meet Marc and Nicole. Here's the website. Kinda cool, but have never used them. http://www.glveneer.com/productsleveneer.html
