zoki4691
Guys, I'm starting to build a subwoofer home. I bought a cone of B & W and an amplifier always B&W to 350W. These days I should finish it.

chopnhack
Man, that reminds me of when I built a similar enclosure so long ago... It was kicka$$ for the home theater. I loved the baffle system you used, but was wondering why you didnt't offset the holes and port it? What kind of wood did you use? Glassing it was smart, but did it affect the clarity fo the wood when the resin dried? Nice work!

Glassing it was smart, but did it affect the clarity fo the wood when the resin dried? Nice work! Thank you. I used strips of walnut and I decided to cover it with epoxy resin to provide maximum resistance to stress. The resin had no effect on color of wood, indeed, increased beauty of wood. I am still in the stages of construction, I should give final layer of resin and should do bass reflex hole at the top, to make it breathe. TerryMcK
Wow awesome. I have B&W speakers on my office stereo. I've had them for years (probably the early 1980s) and they are superb. But your build looks so much better. I hope they sound as good as they look

Let's see how it sounds

zoki4691
nice job Unfortunately my cone of B & W and damaged. During shipment has taken a knock and the cone was the strange vibrations. I replaced it with a different "beast" of Sounstream even more powerful (two coils to 500 W). Sound pressure that is scary

T-astragal
I like it a lot! Reminds me of high school days building speaker boxes for our pickup trucks. Ours weren't so purty though. Steve

Ours weren't so purty though. Steve Even with only 10% power, I fill the room with bass. I do not know what happens if you increase power and do not want to know? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbE6oDJc-Xw
