danbell78 Posted August 26, 2015 Report Share Posted August 26, 2015 I was lucky enough to have a friend who was taking down a couple of big oak trees, one white, one red. He also happened to live in the same neighborhood as a guy with Wood Mizer, so we took advantage of that and milled these trees up. We ended up taking 3 of the 4 logs, and gave the 4th to the guy running the mill. Had him cut as much of the white as quartersawn as possible. It is some beautiful stuff.
