Scott Kaston
Hello All, I recently picked up a cool pair of studio table lamps. Does anyone know this type of wood? I'm stumped ;-) --- I thank you in advance for your help. -Scott

Scott Kaston
Hey, thanks for the info. I attached a better straight on photo. The original owners told me they were teak, but I had my doubts. Is it safe to rule that out and go with cherry?
wdwerker
Definitely not like any teak I have ever seen or used. Could easily be something tropical or exotic depending on where they were made and how old they are. Cherry takes time to darken.
Scott Kaston
Thanks.. I think they're circa 70's. The original owner had a lot of Scandinavian furniture, so I'm thinking thats where the teak came from. I really appreciate your input, thanks again.
