wouldwurker
Ok. I think I did this breadboard right. Tight dominos in the middle. Wide dominos on the ends. Scooped just a bit in the middle for a 'sprung' joint. Only apply glue and clamps to the middle. I hope... Dry fit only, below Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
wouldwurker
Alright, got my gaps in the middle. Tight on the ends. Clamped in middle, no gaps end to end. Speak now or forever let me screw this up . About to add the glue to just the middle after supper. wdwerker
That's a serious clamp job on such thin material. The cauls were a good idea!
wouldwurker
Getting there. Not excited about the hinge work. This birds eye maple is a €%#£ to work with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

wouldwurker
Breadboards trimmed back a bit. Will leave just a hair proud and add the chamfer per the WW video. Sacrificial board used to prevent tare out. (Note, looks out of square do to camera angle ) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

wouldwurker
Tested on a piece of equal size scrap. Hey hey, not bad for a first try with a chisel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

wouldwurker
Hinges on. Test fit... The back And...um....the front. My board got a bit wonky. But hey, nothing a couple of embedded magnets can't keep down! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

..Kev
Looks super Vinny.. You could remove the top, dampen with water (think preraise the grain), and clamp flat for the night to see is some of that warp will come out. I've used this method in the past to flatten some panels.
wouldwurker
It's a lot of twist. At this point, I'm within a 1/32" of reaching the dominos from the top...not sure I can chance more sanding in the morning. I'm not going to fret over it.
