wtnhighlander
I have this old saw that belonged to my grandfather. No markings that I can find. He claimed it went with a miter machine, Stanley style. I have his old Stanly 4" miter machine, this saw cuts to 6" depth. Anyway, the handle was trashed, so I will attempt to make a new one and clean up the saw. Here is the new handle, roughed out: Rasping away! More to come. Hopefully this won't be a total failure, but the screw hole alignment is a little off. On the other hand, I only have 3 of the 4 screws anyway, so maybe that will increase my chances of lining them up!

..Kev
Always cool to save an old saw. Especially those with family ties.
Jim DaddyO
I am liking the old steel. Nothing like it made today. What a great keep sake and project.

wdwerker
I have the hand saw my grandfather used to build the front porch on the house my dad was born in. He gave it to me and I still use it .
