mn pete
It seems like I've got more projects in the works than time to work on them! Here's my list...for now at least. My wife reminded me about another after I wrote this. http://secondwindworkshop.blogspot.com/2011/01/on-bench-jan-2011.html I just signed up the Wood Whisperer Guild Build. This'll be my first time building anything along with a group/class online.
Timberwerks
To much is on the bench right now, whiskey cabinet, lingerie chest, jewelry cabinet. Soon I need to start working on small boxes and some items to list on Etsy. I need more hours in a day. I can't complain though, I love what I do! d8nk
I fine coat of rubber/plastic soot from my air compressor starting on fire and filling the shop with smoke... Waiting for restoration company to start clean-up next week. Under that is many half done projects including new door, jamb, vanity cabinet, and matching vanity light. I started that project 2 days before the fire and ripped everything out of the only bathroom in my house. Really my wife loves having no door on the bathroom, I swear... iSawitFirst
Between projects right now. Finished the Christmas gifts and am now cleaning up, sending my Forrest WW2 off to be resharpened, building a miter sled, building a sanding center and reorganizing for efficiency. I'll be doing a big build (for me) in the spring that will include custom designed loft beds, dressers and desks for my twin grandsons and oldest grandson. Gonna need a LOT of efficiency. As a good counterpoint, if you are less efficient, you spend more time in the shop

If only I could be a professional hobbyist.

Mister Pants
Like everyone else too much (though technically right now my workbench is covered in handplanes cause I haven't built a proper cabinet for them yet ). In the hopper, two more library bookshelves, a tabletop jewelry armoire, turning new handles for a bunch of old socket chisels, a coffee table, sofa table, and a memorial clock. Almost forgot a handplane cabinet (duh I even mentioned it above!), and a couple of cutting boards. I'm not sure if I should be embarrassed that I still use a cheap plastic cutting board in the kitchen...
Pete Bennett
A laminated carcass for what will be a very challenging 'Art Deco' style dresser unit this piece is the top section.

mn pete
Lots of sawdust being made out there. Excellent! I just got my first commission for one of the Doug Stowe boxes, so I'm moving another batch of those higher in the queue. I still need to get out to the lumber dealer and pick out the stock for the Guild Build so that it can sit in the shop for a bit. Any fellow Minnesotans out there have a prefered hardwood dealer? I'm looking to build the Guild cabinet in Soft Maple.
Guest Trace
Department 56 Underground Buildings that do not light up. I am the "electrical lighting specialist" for right now. Only two this year, but I can make the project last for at least a day or two.
