Mick S Posted March 16, 2018 Report Share Posted March 16, 2018 Here's a few seconds of another student's project (Preston Zucker) being cut on the FineLine Automation Saturn 2. The block is Indian Rosewood, 9" x 9" x 3". The clockworks are pocketed 2-1/8" into the back so that the stem could reach through to the face. The face pockets are 1-1/4" deep with the numbers 1/2" recessed using a 1/8" end mill followed by a 1/16" end mill. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That looks like a neat project if you think about it throw up a picture of it when its complete. BTW thanks for sharing definitely out of my wheelhouse but I like seeing what these things can do.
