Mick S
I have two macs, a 2011 MacBook Pro and a 2012 iMac with Fusion drive. I have a Superdrive for the iMac, the Pro had a CD/DVD drive. My problem is this - neither one will mount a Popular Woodworking DVD I bought on building a Roorkee Chair. The Superdrive pushes it out without loading and the Pro spins for a few seconds and spits it out. Is it just not compatible with either? The liner on the DVD says it's for Mac or PC. Tpt life
If you just bought the disc, I would contact the seller. I have yet to find a disc my Super Drive won’t load.
Chet
What Carus said. My wife uses a lot of the dvd's from Great Courses and on two occasions her super drive would not take the dvd, both times they sent a new dvd and the problem went away. Denette
It sounds more like there is a problem with the disc than with your computer. Might try it out on a different computer, but I bet the disc is messed up somehow.
