Popular Post Askland09
Between my fiancé and I moving into our new place and the derecho that blew through our town this last week. I finally had some time to make a little project! It’s very very simple but serves a great purpose of getting my niece and nephew to wash their hands without assistance. Made from cherry and ash scraps I had laying around. Finished with Old Masters Tung Oil Finish. Did not feel the need to make a whole Journal about because I’m pretty sure y’all can figure out the techniques used to put it together . Cheers!

curlyoak
Just right! and the kids will find many other uses too. Are they old enough to start training them in the shop? Or get them to help?

Are they old enough to start training them in the shop? Or get them to help? Unfortunately they are not. They’re 3 and 5 years old and with mostly power tools and with the sharp chisels, marking knives and such I’m not comfortable with them being in the shop especially since I’m kind of a messy worker and will generally leave the sharp tools laying around on the bench while I go get something else ready to rock. Mark J
The bench came out nice. 30 years from now they'll be fighting over which of your grandchildren get to use it.
