Jayhawk714
Can anyone guide me to where I can find a jig to mortise for cabinet/butt hinges. I do not care if it is a shop made jig or store bought. I would like it to go from 3/4" wide stock and up. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Tpt life
With what tool? I mortise butt hinges with a butt hinge plane and/or a router plane. Are you wanting to rout them?
Tom King
I make specialty ones, that you can't buy, if I have a bunch of hinges to set. I make them out of Baltic Birch plywood, and harden the used edges with epoxy.
Mark J
Not sure if they have what you are looking for, but Rockler sells some jigs for installing hinges.

Jayhawk714
Thanks Mark. I checked them out and it seemed like they were all for door hinges and would not work for me.
krtwood
If you have an edge guide for the router, I use something along the lines of this
wtnhighlander
I've used a router guide bushing and a slot cut through a scrap of plywood. A fence clamped or screwed to the ply lwts the jig be clamped securely to tbe work.
Jayhawk714
Thanks for the information! I like the jig and with one or two modifications that could work.
