New to Me DP gets the Add-on Light Feature

I've been spoiled by the small profile, unobtrusive, LED goose neck light on my DP and smaller bandsaw. Dad's Delta had the original lamp fixture which works fine but . . .

This outlet is always hot so I can use the light for setup prior to turning the DP on.

I could have hardwired the LED lamp in but I've been doing this long enough to know to future proof my builds when I can.
Now I have to decide whether to keep the Rockler table dad used, move the Woodpecker table I'm used to,

or shop build a custom one.

Nice upgrade. I use similar (or possibly identical?) lights marketed for sewing machines on a few tools. They also make decent spot-lights for small photography if you add a second layer of light diffusing plastic.

So are you running 2 drill presses now? It's interesting learning about different people's work flow because if my drill press disappeared it'd take me a long time to realize.

I would hate to be without a drill press but the second one will most likely find a new home.  I have been mulling it over and cannot think of a way it would be of enough value to dedicate the space.

I agree as soon as I didn't have it I'd want another one. but man it gets used once a year.

Mount it sideways so you never have to rotate your stock...
