BillyJack
Anybody familiar with an orange spackle filler for cabinets. I’m not sure if it’s powder or a paste in a wood putty type cup. It’s not Bondo..
BillyJack
Maybe it was Durhams?

Tom King
I don't remember Durhams being orange. I never ever found one that I really liked, but Dap products a reliable. They all shrink, I don't care what they claim. I liked Elmers when it first came out, but buying some later it seemed grainier and shrank more. https://www.dap.com/products-projects/our-brands/plastic-wood/?gclid=CjwKCAjww7KmBhAyEiwA5-PUSvFhanVSzYkdjpHnpw_XvCKdnhTf1YyHyd_cQms0CLatm2HaYFfxZRoCkCAQAvD_BwE
BillyJack
I wanted something like Bondo without the actual hardness , which should be easier to sand than Bondo.I’ve used ever wood putty out there including Elmer’s., Fix-it, Famowood, etc.. I’ll give the Durhams a try. I bought=a 16oz can of it.
Tom King
It's been so long since I used any that I don't remember. I would think it gets pretty hard, since they call it rock hard.
BillyJack
Harder than woodputty and softer than Bondo.
legenddc
I used that to patch my door jambs when I cut out the door stop trim. It worked well. I don’t remember sanding it but I’m sure I had to.

The plywood has really good , solid edges, but thought it might slick it out after the fill.
Wimayo
Timber Mate comes in a color similar to that and it works very well. Not sure about its relative hardness. I haven't used Durham's for many years. Last time I did I found that it was very crumbly after it cured and it didn't adhere very well. BillyJack
I tried some last night on the edges of the cabinet. I’ll sand it and prime it today..
Ronn W
If its going to be painted, I use Qwik wood. Easy to sand and can be paired with a chisel. Does not shrink ( 2-part ). https://www.amazon.com/Quick-Wood-471050-24-QuikWood-Putty/dp/B000VPO0R8/ref=asc_df_B000VPO0R8/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309778504998&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=6854053373863532424&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9019691&hvtargid=pla-570049648759&psc=1
