Popular Post curlyoak
I made the frame about 5 years ago. It is hanging in the conference room of a wholesale seafood distributer. The glass work was made many years ago as a starving artist. Now he has hit the big time. He asked me to make a "fancy" frame with no other instructions. I like how it is displayed with the other objects of art. The glass was filthy. So I brought over to the local stained glass artist to clean. They immediately recognized the work and knew the then artist as well as knowing him now. Years ago they worked together. The frame is walnut, Q white oak, and curly oak.

curlyoak
I just spoke to the artist/business man to tell him about my visit to the conference room. He told me he has a project for me. Luck of the draw...
Chestnut
I like the frame it complements the stained glass well but doesn't distract from it. Well done. I really like that piece of stained glass as well.
gee-dub
That frame beautifully presents the artwork. The coloration of the oak is perfect for the glass colors. Compliments the art and adds nicely to the overall look. Well done.
