Tom King
This is at least the third time my Powermatic 62 table saw has needed arbor bearings. The first time was in the late 1970's. I had to go all the way to Richmond (85 miles from home) and do some searching with Yellow Pages and telephone with old bearings in hand plus running around in town with a map. The second time I was glad to know where to get them and what the bearing numbers were. treeslayer
Wow ! 3 times @Tom King, at least you should be good at it now, never replaced mine in my old Delta but not looking forward to it when the time comes, you think that there is a problem with the saw or just lots of use ? Tom King
Lots of use. That was my main table saw for about 30 years. I hadn't used it since about 2004, but need it again now. It's not hobby use.
BillyJack
The 64 must use smaller bearing and they don’t last as long as the 65, 66 and 67..
Tom King
The 62 was the predecessor to the 64. It's a heavier saw with solid cast wings, but I don't know about the bearings. The arbor is nothing like as heavily built as a cabinet saw. I'd be surprised if the changed the arbors between those two contractors saws, but don't know.
