Cleaning finished polyurethane table

Finished polyurethane table ha# been damaged by incorrect cleaning product.  Any suggestions for getting the white spots removed from table and also how to clean table and keep from streaking

I usually use a polyurethane floor cleaner, which is specially formulated to preserve the polyurethane finish while removing stains. You can dampen a sponge with the cleaner and scrub the stain gently, then rinse the surface with another damp sponge. I hope this helps.
