Minwax formulation seems to have more wax, less oil. Pretty decent as a polish over finish, but not as good for the lubicating and rust prevention we all want.

These are a couple of the ones Rick made mention of.

After adding a couple of my own tools to the cabinet, there wasn’t room for them but because of their uniqueness, I thought better to display them rather than store them in a drawer. Since they are made of light colored wood and the cabinet is oak, I decided to silhouette them in a darker walnut. Not perfect but they have received a lot of attention.

Beautiful cabinet Coop, if I ever have more than 6 chisels and more than 3 planes I’ll have to try to make one

Dave, The difference between our hand tool amounts is simple. I was using them before you could grow a beard!   :-)
