Framing square tip.

I left the info on the photo, as that account is a good one for the most part. I bought a red square for the fences, he improvises one with stair gauges. Why am I just now seeing this??

I used stair gauges for a long time until I found this. Then I got the big red one and don't use these anymore.

For square gauges I was going to recommend the Starrett ones like my 50 year old ones that I bought new, but then I saw the price when I picked up this link.  The wide ends work great on construction lumber with rounded corners.   I've laid out many stair stringers and rafters with them.  Mine stay on the dashboard of my truck.  I like these a lot better than the more commonly seen hexagonal ones.
