Wood Clamps

Hello! I just signed up for the forum, so this is my first post. My question is about some wood clamps. My grandfather did woodworking for about 70 years or so and passed away a few years ago. My father and I inherited all of his tools and equipment and finally got them moved from where he lived and have set them up. He had some clamps that I found in his tools that were relatively new and work really well for some projects that I am working on. I would like to get some more of these clamps, but I can't find them anywhere. They are made up of two scissor folding pieces with screw-down brackets that clip over plastic notches that are attached to a 2x4 that has been ripped in half. On the other end of the clamp is another scissor bracket that is stationary (no screw down). The plastic brackets have "WSC" imprinted on them. Any help would be greatly appreciated!post-15339-0-60811400-1394756504_thumb.j

I found the picture of your clamp on a general search and was very happy to see it.

My husband recently suffered a series of small strokes and while organizing his workshop to meet his new needs, he found this clamp

and could not remember what it was used for , or how to use it.

very frustrating for him.

Thanks to your post I was able to show him pictures of the clamp in use to refresh his memory.

One more step in the direction of being able to function in his shop again.

Thanks to you and everyone who responded, this forum rocks, and I will be a frequent visitor from now on.
