Coop
Just the name itself sucks. Good luck to you guys in the NE. I hope it tracks toward Iceland, wherever that is, then peters out!
chrisphr
At least right now, the track is sending it east (thank goodness). Where I am at (Charlotte, NC) we are going to get lots of rain, hopefully no more than an inconvenience (I hope). Broadcasting the best Karma I can for the east coast. I love this forum for the thoughtfulness of its members, thanks Coop for the post.

wtnhighlander
No joke, Chris. I was in NC when Hugo passed through. I was 75 miles west of you, and it was still one of the worst storms I have ever seen. Be safe, buddy!
Tom Cancelleri
It's supposed to hit here in Virginia. Hopefully it stays away. I happened to leave for a conference in Dallas the day before Hurricane Sandy hit this area. Got home and found out my ornamental pear tree had split from the hurricane. Don't wanna deal with any crap like that again.
Chet
You eastern folks take care. I hope this thing dies out before it does any damage.
krtwood
The euro model (that accurately forecast Sandy) had it going out to sea from the beginning, but the US models that had it going every which way let them hype it up. Lots of rain for the mid-atlantic though.
