sjk
Cool hinge & seamless look on the back! +1 on the D4R continual re-learning curve. Great once you've got it down for a project, but at that point you've completed that project.
Popular Post shaneymack
Finished building the five boxes. Still need to make the finger recess, final sand and spray them. I got the hang of the wood hinge by the fourth box. Thanks to @pkinneb i made some birdseye dowel. It looks great on the birdseye box. (Small repair to do to the dovetail on the left- chipped out on the jig) Nice straight grain cherry with a touch of sapwood Tigerwood sides Love the birdseye/ Honduran Mahogany combo I will add a few pics when they are all finished. Just took the garbage down the lane and stood in awe of this gorgeous sunset. Thought I'd share Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk

shaneymack
I could grow old near that lake. Bah Too late for that I guess ha! The lake is nice. Its Lac St-Louis which flows into the St Lawrence. We aren't directly on the lake though, we are just up a private lane. Cliff
Wow those boxes look awesome. I'm still not sure I understand how the hinges work. Gotta read through that again I think.
