That is hilarious.. when I scrolled past Tom, I thought "ooh he finally has a picture", then "damn he looks like norm" well done E-mod
Woodenskye
Since Tom doesn't seem to like the norm photo, maybe Tom Silva would be more fitting
Eric.
I've changed it to something I think Tom would approve of. Poor Norm got the boot.

wdwerker
Just for info on this subject the PEC square heads and blades are interchangeable with Starrett squares & blades. I had a couple of squares that the bolt, spring and nut were missing or broken. Harryepstein had the replacements for about $3.95 for the set if I remember right. When I tried to find the Starrett parts it was going to be around $20 but no place had them available ! I have a tendency to over tighten the bolt because I have had them slip at the worst possible time so I bought a few spares.
Coop
I just ordered this Steve, even with $10 shipping, it's a deal. Thanks
Coop
Every time I see Roy crossing the intersection on his lead in, I think of the Abbey Road album cover of The Beatles, and Tom doesn't fit in there. Find him another one.

I'm actually six months older than Roy. I met him when he was close to finishing up at Duke. The house he was staying in looked a lot like the setup you see on his TV show. We traded a few jokes, and he showed me all his tools, and let me use the spring pole lathe. I had been walking down the street, and saw a group of people in his back yard building shave horses, so I walked over to see what was going on. I couldn't understand why anyone who needed a shave horse didn't just build one. It was my first, and last, experience seeing a woodworking class. That was some time around 1975.
