Usually this means other retailers will have a similar sale, although maybe not the same weekend. I've been wanting to buy a Powermatic PM54a jointer and my wife is not going to be happy. A lot of this stuff holds it's value reasonably well espically if you take care of it. Holding it's value doesn't mean much if you never sell it but it makes it easier to stomach buying.
