Popular Post Tom King
I went to visit my Mother today, for her 103rd Birthday. She was doing the exact same thing she was doing on her 102nd, last year. She was out in her driveway blowing Oak stamen off the pavement with a small electric leaf blower. This time, she was wearing a sweater, even though it was close to 80 degrees with the Sun out. I asked her why she was wearing a sweater when it was so warm outside. She said she didn't want to get sunburned, that she was too lazy to go find something else, and the sweater was right there. She said maybe she'd had a senior moment making that decision. I wanted to take a picture, but she said she felt like she looked too old, and didn't want to take any pictures. I told her that I doubted many people who made it to 103 complained about looking too old. The ladies at church wanted to give her another celebration, but she said it was too much trouble for them to do it every year. She seems to be doing fine.

Byrdie
I hope it's genetic. Congratulations to your Mom and it's easy to see where you get some of that energy.
