Popular Post Dave H
About 6 months ago after being frustrated at not being consistent and very fast at sharpening my lathe tools I bought the Wolverine jig, and a slow speed grinder. Well I had a grinder and, a Worksharp machine that just seem to bounce around the shop and I decided to give them a home that I could roll around so I built a station on cabinet with 4 drawers and mounted all 3 grinding machines to the top Then fast forward 6 months, I got tired of the hair ball of power cords always in the way and decided to make a 2 gang recepticle inside the cabinet to plug the grinders into so no cords were cluttering the top of the rolling cabinet so I drilled some holes through the top so I could stuff the cords through. Then I had to organize the cord so they wouldn't interfere with the drawers. Here is the cord management from the underside of the top her is the view from the back of cabinet here is looking at cord management from the front here is the side of the cabinet where I have a french cleat to hold my removable storage for my 2" hook and loop sanding disks My daughter has one of those Cricket thing-a-ma-bobs and she printed out the grit sizes I wear reading glasses when I'm reading, so she thought she would make the font so large I could read it from outer space LOL oh well. I have a 15' cord so I can reach a recepticle from almost any spot in the shop. All that's left is some 1/4" back panel and it's done, and I gave everything, the top sides and drawer fronts a couple coats of water based poly. thanks for looking.
