Popular Post roughsawn
Don't really know what to call this spot, but it is in my garage where you come in from outside. I've been working on it for a couple months. Everything is 1" thick red oak, from trees that I have cut down, slabbed, stacked and dried, then milled in my shop to make the lumber for these projects. Never really kept a journal here on the forum, but...I started with the bin storage cabinet. After building and installing that, it was on to the live edge coat rack. This turned out especially nice. And finally, the sitting bench for taking off/changing shoes and boots. Oh, and just prior to the wood projects, my wife and I painted the 3 surrounding walls, and installed carpet. Everything got 2 coats of stain, and 4 coats of Satin poly. I'm sure I'll need a couple posts for the pictures. Bin storage first.
