gee-dub Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 I have been running half inch Laguna Resaw King blades for many years without issue. I do not know that they would qualify as thin kerf, but you can check the specs online. 1 Quote
memetaco Posted February 18 Author Report Posted February 18 I would like to try the Laguna resaw blade but need a non stock size. Will the company you buy from cut and weld blades? Quote
gee-dub Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 I run a 131-1/2" blade and so have never sought custom lengths. What length do you need? Quote
Tom King Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 I would run a Lenox Woodmaster CT 1.3 TPI blade 1" wide on that machine. I run one on my 24". It's smooth enough and Very fast cutting. I buy them from Bandsawbladesdirect. No problem buying a custom length. You may have a reason for running a 1/2" blade, but I use smaller bandsaws for 1/2" blades and only run 1" on the 24" machine. JustAnotherGuy Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 I am hoping I am not getting flagged for this but my supplier, sawblade.com custom-make blades. You can give them a try. 2 Quote

The issue I see most often that is a problem is someone spamming us with out of context commercials or posts just to feed SEOs. 1 Quote

JustAnotherGuy Posted March 2 Report Posted March 2 I got flagged before for doing such. All good though. Was away from PC because I am getting sicky the past few months 1 Quote

Was away from PC because I am getting sicky the past few months We're only human, and our decisions can be affected by which moderator is involved, whether or not we're being pummeled by an unending flood of spam at the moment, or subtle differences in context or phrasing. Sometimes, whether we've had our morning coffee or not makes a difference. Hope you're feeling better. I was out for the entire month of February, and then on Friday I suddenly realized that I could move around and do stuff. Don't know what it was. 5 Quote
