duckkisser
there is a music festival in the summer months thinking of geting a booth to sell stuff that i have made. Ill set up my lathe and give a demonstration on how to not lose a finger or a eye. thinking that i will do this for chuckles around lunch time. think it would be great way to pull someone from the crowd to catch for me and help me make some curly fries. what do you think? everytime i have gone near a craft/art fair when there is people making stuff their you can always find a crowd standing around the booth. plus if i make something out of green wood the flying ribbons are always impresive. anyone done any demonstration or shows that can give me some advice? rmac
If I had to bet, I'd say forget the safety demonstrations and make/sell fried potatoes all day. This looks really neat to me. -- Russ
TimV
I couldn't help laughing as I was watching that video. That's great. I'm not sure I could get my family to eat the potatoes that were turned from my lathe.
