rodger.
Lee valley informed me that the prices for anything festool was going up as of april 1, so it pushed me over the edge! I bought the festool 500q, and the tenon assortment. I'm reading the manual tonight, and will get some test cuts in tomorrow. Pretty excited! (Though significantly lighter in the wallet). Freddie
Unless this country stops going into the ground, everything is going to keep getting more and more expensive.
EdgewaterWW
Congrats! Make lots of sawdust and tight Joints with it. I got a email from Rockler about the April 1 deadline also. So Festool is going from out of my price range to more out of my price range. Well a man can still dream! But maybe this is good news for the resale of my one Festool tool? STL Woodguy
Congrats Franklin! I am getting sick of Festool jacking up their prices every year! You have to specifically have a close eye for it when browsing the price list - and it's definitely the exception rather than the norm - but sometimes Festool DROPS their prices on some things. In particular, I'm pretty sure I saw a small price drop on the MFK 700 on this year's list.
Barron
About once a year Festool has a refurbished tool sale, you can get a decent discount (10-30%). Tools I have purchased in those sales have held up great.
