Popular Post bigarm
next Monday probably. I ordered a 10 x 16 shed, which is actually 10 x 12 with a 4 foot porch to put the lathe in. Hopefully can get an electrician to come and put power in fairly soon.
wdwerker
So you are going to enclose the porch or just throw a tarp over the lathe and let it rust?

toddclippinger
Congrats! I will be looking forward to seeing the small shop come together!
bigarm
The lathe will go inside. I ordered one with a porch for snow protection in the winter and somewhere to sit in the better weather for a rest. I will post pictures when it is delivered. BeautysBeast
I have a 10x14 workshop out back. Insulated, and powered. I use the gas burner from my still (Nothing more than a fancy turkey deep frier) to warm it up in the Wisconsin winters. Once it's warm, (10 minutes) It stays warm.
