bushwacked
Does anyone have a good source for buying bulk and not spending $5 a bag? I was thinking of giving these a try ... if they work I will have bags for years haha. If they dont ... I guess I could always try and use them as shop trash bags. https://www.uline.com/Product/Detail/S-6360/Poly-Bags-Flat-Open/30-x-40-6-Mil-Poly-Bags
..Kev
I got mine (for the old collector) from a Janitorial Supply place locally. They have the heavier bags and were pretty inexpensive.

Chestnut
I've always meant to ask. Are the DC plastic bags meant to be reused? I also thought about just putting a 2nd filter bag on the bottom to catch the chips and dust.
drzaius
I got some at Walmart (I think Glad) that fit my 35 gal drum with lots to spare. they would probably fit a 55 gal drum as well. They aren't super heavy duty, but good enough for dust. And I think they were less than $1 per bag

bushwacked
Ya I would think you could use them a couple times before they get beat up ... Although I am happy enough with the $2 a bag for 50 bags that I picked up.
pkinneb
I use hefty leaf bags in my Onieda 35 gallon drum and I also reuse them until they get holes probably 3/4 uses. Never had an issue
