tim0625
Last Christmas, Rockler temporarily goofed and put this Bosch Router Combo on sale for $99. Normally $177 at Amazon. Not too "silly" but totally worth it....I likes it.
Indy Cindy
I like a little spring loaded center punch I got at Harbor Freight. I use it all the time and at only $3 I bought two.
Coop
I had a coupon from HF for two free little metal bowls with a magnet attached. Now I can find my dp chuck key and the allen wrenches for my band saw.
ChetlovesMer
Okay this has to be the silliest of all. A couple of years ago I discovered chalkboard chalk. Yeah, silly but now I use it all the time to mark up my pieces mostly to prevent mistakes. For example I might write "THIS SIDE UP" on every piece that's about to go over a dado head. Doing things like that and drawing huge triangles on assemblies has saved me a ton of frustration over the last couple years.
Freddie
The scissors from my moms kitchen knife set. They were the best! She kept asking who took them for about a year and i shrugged my shoulders. One day i felt bad and put them back. Now i have a crappy pair of scissors.
Janello
I don't need cheater glasses yet, but when I want to do an inlay my favorite gadget is a magnifying head set with led lights. That sucker makes a fine pencil line look like a Jumbo Sharpie!
Mzdadoc
The funniest image was me with my cheaters dangling down when I had safety glasses on and then when I needed to adjust my saw I lifted the safeties up and put the cheaters on. My wife thought I looked like a dork but at least I was safe..... LOL
Guest
What really makes me happy is when I realize shop consummables are just that and order in quantities of 100. There is no better feeling than looking at a drawer of sanding discs and knowing you have at least 50 of each grit! I have wasted too many hours trying to search for that last 220 grit disc. Tpt life
^ Yeah, old speakers—for the best free magnets.
