Chet
I retired when I was 52 and did nothing important other then wood working for 3 years. Then in 2008 I had the opportunity to start a small awards and engraving business from home. It is in one room of our house and most of the time I still feel very retired. But at the end of the school year I get pretty busy working 40 to 50 hours for about 6 weeks then I am retired again. I do 50% of my yearly business in this time span but it gives me a fair amount of disposable income for the year so I can tough it out. Here is a couple of shots of my other shop. The pile of softball trophies nets enough to by the equivalent of a Laguna 1412 and shipping if I didn't already have one. And this is what happens to my real shop/garage during the 6 week frenzy... It becomes the shipping and receiving department. But nothing gets put on the table saw top
..Kev
Awesome! Real nice of your wife to give you that much space in the house!
Janello
Nice office space, and very cool job to create some side income. You have a lot of energy for your age, being able to work with your hands, computers, printers and the logistics of running a business. Good for you! Tom Cancelleri
That's awesome. Nice setup you have there, good side business and it's nice to keep busy. I have those same MAudo monitor speakers, crank em up and engrave all day. Sounds good to me.
Chet
You are definitely right about cranking them up, and the coffee is close by and the commute isn't bad.
